Job Overview

NHS England is seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join the Faculty Support Team. This role involves supporting the development of Foundation and Secondary Care Specialty Schools (including Public Health and Dental). Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing educators, managing curriculum delivery processes, overseeing specialty-specific services, and planning Annual School Business Plans with Heads of Schools.

This position supports NHS Englandโ€™s goals to create a compassionate, inclusive, and collaborative workplace, ultimately enhancing healthcare delivery and education quality. The successful candidate will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and engage in high-impact projects that contribute to organizational success and patient care quality.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum and Program Management: Oversee the Curriculum Study Leave process, manage events and training courses, and collaborate with national and local education providers.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with specialty schools, Head(s) of School(s), and key stakeholders across the East of England region.

Business Planning: Develop and track Annual School Business Plans, ensuring innovations are integrated with other functional teams.

Quality Improvement: Act as a patient and public involvement champion, upholding NHS values and supporting equality and inclusion.

Administrative Oversight: Manage reporting, budget monitoring, and internal processes to ensure effective program delivery.

Required Qualifications

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, risks, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong knowledge of policies and issues in medical education.

Skills in financial management, project planning (Prince 2 or Microsoft Project), and drafting professional communications.
