Job Overview

As a Clinical Fellow, you will join a dynamic team supporting NHS England’s clinical commissioning policy and evaluative commissioning programmes for specialised services. Working under the mentorship of the National Deputy Medical Director (Specialised Services), you’ll draft, build, consult, and publish national clinical policy to the standards required by NHS England.

Main Responsibilities

Provide support to policy working groups in alignment with NHS England’s methods for clinical commissioning policy development.

Assist in drafting, testing, and refining clinical commissioning policies and evaluative commissioning proposals aimed at improving patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct impact assessments on policies and proposals, considering their effects on patients and current services.

Engage in stakeholder testing and public consultation to validate and improve policy drafts.

Assist panel members in understanding evidence of clinical effectiveness that informs policy proposals.

Contribute to refining policy and commissioning methodology to prioritize resources effectively.

Provide leadership and project management to ensure timely delivery of policy products.

Eligibility for Visa Sponsorship
