Job Overview:

Connect, the West Yorkshire Eating Disorder Service, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Manager to lead its Community Team. As the Connect Community Team Manager, you will oversee the safe and effective delivery of services, managing clinical operations, team appraisals, performance, and service development. You will play an essential role in the leadership team and contribute to senior governance and leadership meetings.

In this role, you will manage a small clinical caseload and provide oversight for complex clinical cases. You will also have the chance to develop your leadership and management skills through training and close support from the operational manager. Your responsibilities will include effective change management, team building, and service development, using your knowledge of performance indicators to drive service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the clinical team in delivering high-quality care for patients with eating disorders.

Manage service delivery, quality control, and performance monitoring.

Provide guidance and oversight for complex clinical cases.

Develop and enhance service delivery in line with current research and guidance.

Offer leadership and mentorship to team members, contributing to their professional development.

Support the operational manager with leadership duties and participate in governance and leadership meetings.

Foster a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that the team follows best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

Professional Healthcare registration (essential).

A minimum of 4 years post-registration experience.

Leadership and management experience, particularly in eating disorder services or mental health.

Strong clinical skills and experience in managing clinical teams.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
