We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Technology team in Sydney. This role will be responsible for the development, upkeep, and maintenance of Class infrastructure, including networks, cloud platforms, backup solutions and monitoring and alerting systems.

In addition, you will work with the Engineering Team to deliver on projects and act as an escalation point for cloud and infrastructure related issues, incidents, and requests.

Responsibilities:

• • Design and implement solutions to meet specified project requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records
  • Manage handover of systems and processes to the Operational Team
  • Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution
  • Security by design
  • Act as a technical escalation for systems issues
  • Define and enforce back up standards for cloud technologies
  • Ensure monitoring requirements are factored into all technology solutions.

Requirements

• • Demonstrated experience in managing infrastructure services in either AWS (preferred), GCP and/or Azure Cloud environments
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS based servers
  • Good Understanding of TCP/IP networking stack and services
  • Experience in O365, Azure and other Microsoft offerings(AAD, Exchange online, SharePoint, Intune)
  • Experience with coding/scripting in one of the following languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar
  • Knowledge of IAC tools such as: Cloud Formation, Terraform, ARM, AWS CDK or similar.
