An award winning, established and leading successful Scientific Engineering organisation located in Glasgow (Scotland) who support other industries that include clinical research, academia, pharmaceuticals & biopharmaceuticals, food & drug testing and environmental testing have an exciting role to hire for a brand new Controls & Electronics Engineer to join the Technology & Design Engineering team and work at their high-tech Research & Design facility in Glasgow.

Salary on offer:

The salary on offer for the successful Controls & Electronics Engineer is £35,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Visa Sponsorship is available for UK based candidates.

The role:

The successful Controls & Electronics Engineer will work within a well-supported multidisciplined engineering team and to be responsible to design, develop, test and maintain the company’s Scientific products, technology and embedded systems.

Key Skills:

• 1-2+ years industry experience
• Experience of a controls software / electronics design focused role
• Software programming in C or C++
• Experience of MATLAB, Simulink
• Embedded communication protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Ethernet etc
• PCB Design & Schematic Capture
• Embedded systems development, debugging and trouble-shooting
• Self-motivated, innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great teamwork and communication skills
