Join NHS England’s South West region as the Director of System Coordination, where you will lead a strategic team responsible for overseeing and coordinating health system operations across regional networks. Working closely with regional directors and healthcare leaders, youโ€™ll play a pivotal role in integrating care systems, improving system resilience, and driving transformation in health services across multiple organizations, including Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Integrated Care Systems (ICS).

Location: The role is based at any NHS England office within the South West region (Taunton, Plymouth, or Bristol) with flexible working arrangements available.

Responsibilities:

Lead relationship management with ICBs, ICS, and other regional organizations, coordinating all interactions and interventions.

Support the development of integrated care models, catalyze collaboration across health and care sectors, and improve resilience and autonomy within systems.

Align performance improvement efforts with transformation goals, working closely with senior leaders in clinical, financial, and operational roles.

Drive implementation of national priorities and innovation to enhance healthcare delivery, efficiency, and value.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven senior leadership experience within healthcare, with expertise in system transformation, change management, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong knowledge of the UK health landscape, experience with complex project management, and the ability to influence key decision-makers.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills, with demonstrated experience in quality improvement and population health management.

Benefits:

Starting salary from ยฃ100,000 per year.
