Job Description

The University of Reading (UoR) Examinations team organises over 50,000 candidate sittings per year for approximately 12,000 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.

Examinations are held in multiple exam venues across the University’s Whiteknights and London Road campuses and include large venues which can seat several hundred candidates.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated person to work in our busy examinations team to support the University wide assessment and examination processes In this role you will have a particular focus on the production of examination papers, preparation of examination centres, publication of past papers for use by students, and maintenance of assessment records on the Universityโ€™s student information system (RISIS).

You will have:
  • Experience of administration and data management in a busy office environment
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills and the ability to synthesise information.
  • Excellent IT skills and utilisation of MS Office products.
  • Excellent attention to detail along and organisational and team working skills.
  • The ability to work effectively on own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • The ability to embrace change and work under pressure
