About the Role
The Income Office receives and allocates all University income received by a range of methods including Bank transfer, card payments, E-commerce transactions, cash and cheque. In addition, the team manages all cash floats held across the Universityโs departments, and supports users of the Universityโs Online Store facility and Corporate Barclaycard/Pre-paid card schemes.
Reporting to the Head of Income, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, together with promoting and maintaining a high quality service to departmental customers. Tasks include management of the Universityโs Barclaycard and Pre-paid card schemes. In addition, you will be required to undertake checks and reconciliations of advances (paid via cash or pre-paid card) to ensure that due process has been followed and expenditure is in line with University Policies. You will also have shared responsibility for managing the procedures relating to departmental banking and petty cash float reimbursements, and allocation of University income in a timely and accurate manner.

About You
We are looking for an excellent team player with effective communication skills across all channels. You must be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, with well developed problem solving skills, and possess the ability to manage a demanding workload in order to meet deadlines.
You will be highly organised, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail, and competent in the use of IT.
Experience of working in a high volume processing environment will be useful, as will previous use of Oracle Financials, and a knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
