FLEX Coordinator Digital Merchandising

This is a temporary position.

The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and/or the eCommerce industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision-making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary.

The Coordinator, Digital Merchandising will play a key role in the ongoing digital merchandising tactic workflows and campaign execution throughout the digital customer journey (desktop, mobile, mobile app & on-property). This role will support leadership with marketing technology capabilities with customer data and creativity to enhance the customerโ€™s digital experience. This will be achieved through working on existing or new merchandising tactics, stakeholder management, and benchmarking/monitoring KPIs.

The role will assist the leaders of Merchandising & Optimization with the day-to-day activities surrounding merchandising campaign stakeholder operations and stakeholder management. The manager will be responsible for leveraging 3rd party marketing technology and digital capabilities to deliver personalized, customized, and curated experiences to our guests and members. This also includes working closely and collaborating with their counterparts on priorities set forth by their key stakeholders.

Marriott International is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FLEX Coordinator, Digital Merchandising to play a pivotal role in enhancing the digital customer journey across web, mobile, app, and on-property platforms. This position supports the merchandising and optimization leaders in executing campaigns, leveraging customer data, and utilizing marketing technology to create curated, personalized guest experiences. The role focuses on campaign execution, stakeholder management, and digital merchandising strategy to support global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising Capabilities

  • Maintain and document a comprehensive inventory of digital merchandising placements globally.
  • Assist in organizing, developing, and managing digital assets across initiatives.
  • Utilize WorkFront to manage content and campaigns across digital platforms for corporate and regional promotions.
  • Implement and manage merchandising tagging and taxonomy orchestration.
  • Collaborate to develop creative content for various digital channels (app, web, responsive design).

Required Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or related field preferred
  • 1+ yearsโ€™ experience in digital marketing or merchandising, product management, eCommerce or related function
  • 1+ yearsโ€™ experience in leveraging campaign management tools, marketing and/or personalization technology and customer data capabilities.

Preferred

  • Work Front management of campaigns and content across digital channels to support corporate initiatives and regional promotions
  • Understanding of multiple platforms and how to develop creative content across each โ€“ app, web, responsive design
  • Work along side manager(s) to organize, develop, and traffic assets across disciplines and initiatives

The hourly pay range for this position is $33.94 to $41.68.
