About the Opportunity

Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Sun Peaks Resort have exciting opportunities for full-time Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager, to join our food and beverage team in Sun Peaks, BC.

The Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager will work alongside their peers from all over the world as you create an atmosphere that delivers culinary experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

As a Restaurant Manager, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the food & beverage operations and ensuring established SPG/SPR Standards of Service are executed in a professional and consistent manner
  • Interacting with guests throughout the duration of their dining experience with a focus on delivering an elevated experience
  • Managing the F&B team, finding coaching opportunities throughout each day, ensuring continued growth and development for all team members; documenting appropriately

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the food & beverage operations and ensuring established SPG/SPR Standards of Service are executed in a professional and consistent manner
  • Interacting with guests throughout the duration of their dining experience with a focus on delivering an elevated experience
  • Assisting the F&B Managers in training Bartenders, Servers, and Jr Servers on F&B operations

About You

To qualify as a Restaurant Manager, you must have at least 5 years of F&B experience, coupled with at least 2 years of supervisory experience within a hotel setting.

To qualify as a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you must have at least 3 years of F&B experience, coupled with some progressive supervisory experience within a hotel setting.

In addition, as a Restaurant Manager and as an Assistant Manager, you must have the following:

  • Serving it Right certification
  • Food Safe certification
  • Proficiency in English
