Job Overview:
The Head of Quality position is a key leadership role within the South West Collaborative Commissioning Hub (CCH). The successful candidate will oversee the quality and patient experience team, providing clinical quality advice and expertise across various services, including primary care pharmacy, optometry, dental services, public health, health and justice, and specialized services.
The role focuses on:
Supporting the commissioning process for new and existing services.
Monitoring service performance through patient outcomes and early warning indicators.
Leading quality governance, patient safety, and safeguarding strategies.
Driving transformation, improving patient outcomes, and integrating quality into the commissioning cycle.
This position requires a visible and effective clinical leader with the ability to collaborate with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS England, and other stakeholders. The candidate must foster an inclusive, supportive, and innovative environment while ensuring compliance with equality and safeguarding responsibilities.
