Job Title: Band 7 Intrapartum Manager
Location: Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
Salary: £46,148 – £52,809 per annum

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate leader with expertise in intrapartum care to take on the role of Intrapartum Manager. As the post holder, you will have expert clinical knowledge as a delivery suite co-ordinator and will lead, coach, and mentor other midwives. The role will be split into 75% managerial duties and 25% clinical duties. You will be responsible for ensuring that Trust policies and procedures are followed, ensuring the delivery suite is equipped to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities include:

Demonstrating leadership in planning, developing, and evaluating services

Ensuring patient safety through robust governance processes and incident learning

Contributing to audits and ensuring policies are up to date

Maintaining clinical competencies and applying evidence-based practice

Managing the delivery suite team, supporting professional development, and promoting women-centered services

Qualifications & Experience:

Registered Midwife with NMC registration

Experience as a delivery suite co-ordinator

Ability to lead clinical audits and manage resources

Willingness to become a practice supervisor/assessor

Evidence of ongoing professional development and achievements
