We currently have a great opportunity for a Junior Developer to join our Business Applications team responsibility for performing complex analysis and solution development with a wide range of applications. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a close-knit, collaborative Development Team, working on various projects, where problem solving is of high importance.

A great opportunity for a recent Computer Science graduate or similar who has a strong interest in software development and Power BI.

This is an office based role.

The Role:

• Collaborate with internal development teams, external development partners, and end users to ensure that solutions exceed expectations.
• Evaluating user requirements and developing solutions with MS Power platform
• Use problem solving skills as challenges arise.
• Environment upgrades.
• Deployment of solutions to all test and production environments.
• Design and develop SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and transform data from various sources.
• Developing PowerBI and Dax solutions.
• Managing the documentation and administration of information systems, ensuring that all actions comply with IT Policy and procedures.

The Person:

• Confident to work individually on projects as well as part of a team.
• Genuine desire to work within and a keen interest in IT.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Drive and self-motivation, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
