The Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (VPRI) serves to encourage, facilitate, administer and promote research at SFU; advocate for university research generally; and guide policy development at university and government levels.
About the Role
The Knowledge Synthesis Specialist facilitates evidence synthesis projects to deliver actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, enabling informed decision-making. This role provides expert scientific and technical guidance, defines project scope and resource needs, and ensures quality assurance processes. By conducting evidence synthesis, engaging stakeholders, and translating complex research into accessible formats, this position ensures high-quality outputs that align with stakeholders priorities and strategic goals.
