The Department of History & Sociology is seeking to recruit a Lecturer / Lecturer (Teaching) in History on a part time basis for a fixed term period of four years. Candidates should possess or be approaching completion of a PhD and have subject expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- modern; nineteenth/twentieth-century British history
- gender and/or โwomenโsโ history.
It is also essential that candidates have experience with curriculum delivery including in relation to study skills, research methods, and work-based learning, as well as with open and applicant days. To be considered for the standard academic contract (SAC), candidates will be expected to have an emerging profile of publications suitable for submission to the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
