JOB PURPOSE

The role of the Marketing Assistant is to support the Marketing team with daily activities, which include but are not limited to: Brand, Product, Retail and Wholesale Marketing activity, calendar requests, department reporting and communication, meeting preparations and administrative and operational tasks. The assistant reports in to the Marketing Manager and works closely with the marketing coordinator in the daily support of the marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile all marketing recaps and business updates
  • Maintain marketing calendar and timelines
  • Prepare presentations and reports summarizing department activities
  • Oversee all marketing administration duties and scheduling for Marketing Director and Marketing Manager
  • Process and reconcile all POโ€™s
  • Assist in developing and maintining regional marketing plans
  • Oversee email marketing calendars for the region
  • Support the implementation of our media strategy
  • Assist as needed at department events
  • Ensure regional marketing plans are shared cross functionally and with local Market Directors
  • Bring new and culturally relevant ideas to Burberry
  • Coordinate samples and shipment of samples for media and wholesale partnership needs

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, analytical and reporting skills are a must
  • Clear communicator
  • Fast and efficient approach to work load
  • Agile and ability to quickly adjust to changes
  • Must be well versed in Keynote, ppt and Excel
  • Profitiency in creative/design software such as Photoshop, Adobe, etc. a plus
  • Strong interest in music, art and creative communities
  • Areas of Study & Experience: Marketing or Communications

  • Maintaining recaps and sharing of information with teams
  • Sharing new ideas and a unique point of view with the team
