Role:

Set up and maintain Sysco Canadaโ€™s SUPC (Sysco Uniform Product Code) Corporate related field information in the Salesforce platform. The role also includes analysis, cleansing and standardization creating consistent information across Canada for our Customers, Vendors and Sysco Colleagues. This role also includes project work required to maintain consistency to our Item data across Canada.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Process new Item setup requests as required
  • Update Supplier portal with Unabbreviated Item description for new item setups. Coordinate with French translation team for translation of all applicable English Enrichment data.
  • Review Item setup information such as storage area, tax, weights and dimensions
  • Work on mass data cleanse uploads across all sites
  • Work with our various data query tools and IT to run reporting showing existing data setups and differences across operating companies.
  • Review data and work with subject matter experts within the company to determine proper master data set up for all existing data
  • Standardize information related to SUPCs
  • Work with sites to eliminate duplicate SUPC set ups and inconsistent corporate item information.
  • Collaborate with Global Standards (GS1), STEP/STIBO Systems, EDI, Central/Corporate Billing and other functional areas for ensuring that the item master data is properly setup as per process and meets standards.
  • Contribute creative and innovative continual improvements to the data setup and data management process
  • Review data and work with subject matter experts within the company to determine proper master data setup for all existing data
  • Work on item related projects
  • Perform backup activities for MDM Item Enrichment as needed
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

  • Minimum three (3+) years job related experience in Data Management and Business Analysis
  • Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Business or Finance is an asset
  • Bilinual in French is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Cognos, AS400, and Internet applications.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must be extremely detail and deadline oriented, a fast learner, and a multi-tasker.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Technical knowledge on existing Sysco systems in Finance or Merchandising is an asset.
  • Robust collaboration skills, effective follow-up and excellent team player attitude
