Job Overview:
Join our dynamic skin cancer team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, where you will support the development of surgical and faster diagnosis pathways. This role offers the opportunity for training in dermatology, allowing you to work alongside our general dermatology team in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a skilled practitioner in dermatology, providing support to patients and healthcare professionals.
Participate in the direct access to surgery element of the Skin Analytics pathway.
Support the Dermatology CNS team with biologic treatments and dermatology/skin cancer clinics (both face-to-face and telephone).
Collaborate in research and audit data collection and submission.
Qualifications:
Essential: 1st level NMC Registered Nurse, degree level education or equivalent, and at least 3 years post-registration experience.
Desirable: Clinical examination qualification, experience in general dermatology/skin cancer, and/or direct access pathways.
