Overview:

The Programme Manager will play a critical role in the Digital Transformation initiative within NHS England, specifically leading the Connecting Care Records Programme. This position focuses on ensuring that health and care professionals have secure and timely access to essential patient information, enhancing the quality of individual care across the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver significant programmes or projects aimed at improving health outcomes for the public.

Manage the entire lifecycle of a programme of system change, ensuring robust governance.

Oversee the setup and delivery of multiple projects, collaborating with colleagues and subject matter experts.

Review project reports and risk logs, advising project managers on escalation processes.

Provide expertise in project management methodologies and ensure that project outputs meet programme requirements.

Support organizational change initiatives and foster excellence within the health system.

Build relationships with senior managers, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Practitioner level in MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) and Agile methodologies.

Experience in managing significant programmes and delivering projects on time and within scope.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and provide clear reporting on progress and risks.

A positive and flexible attitude towards tasks, with a focus on teamwork and relationship-building.
