Radiology Nursing Sister, band 7 up to 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiology Sister to join our clinical team within Radiology at the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital.
This post is suitable for Nurses with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience and well-developed nursing skills within an acute hospital. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a caring patient centred and flexible approach to work.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is predominately concerned with ensuring the delivery of high standard patient centred care. It combines clinical expertise, leadership and educational/research skills with managerial and professional responsibilities.
The post holder will have overall accountability for the day to day management of the registered nurses within out department to provide high quality care. It is expected that the post holder will undertake clinical duties as well as producing rotas and general staff management whilst looking at ways to develop the Interventional service and develop professional practice within the role.
The post holder will work alongside the other Band 7s in the department with the support from the Trust Lead Radiographer and Matron.
