Job Overview:

The NHS England East of England Screening and Immunisation Team is seeking two part-time Screening and Immunisation Coordinators to support the delivery of high-quality screening and immunisation services across the East of England region. The roles are as follows:

West Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes (WE/HBLMK): Permanent position, 19.5 hours per week.

East Anglia: Fixed-term contract (secondment only for current NHSE employees), initially until November 2025, 34 hours per week.

The role involves supporting the Screening and Immunisation Lead (SIL) and Screening and Immunisation Manager (SIM) in providing effective public health leadership for screening and immunisation programmes. The candidate will contribute to ensuring that these programmes are provided to the highest quality, safety, and efficiency standards while meeting the needs of all eligible people and ensuring equity of access and uptake.

Candidates should have recent clinical experience in immunisation or experience working in NHS screening programmes. The role offers the opportunity to participate in a variety of public health initiatives, with a focus on improving health outcomes across the region.
