Job Overview:

The NHS is seeking a passionate and organized Screening Coordinator to support the commissioning of safe, high-quality national screening programmes in the East Midlands. The role involves managing commissioning activities, monitoring performance, and building relationships with providers to reduce health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the commissioning of national screening programmes within a defined portfolio, including performance monitoring and incident management.

Collaborate with local and regional teams, sharing knowledge and maintaining logs on incidents.

Provide public health advice and expertise to ensure screening programmes meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educated to post-graduate degree level in a relevant subject (e.g., MSc in Public Health) or equivalent experience.

Experience in delivering or commissioning screening programmes.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively.

Career Level: NHS AfC Band 7
