This role is part of the National Nursing and Midwifery Team within NHS England, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide leadership, expertise, and contribute to the development of the nursing and care workforce. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in shaping nursing education, training policies, and workforce development to ensure high-quality patient care. Youโ€™ll work with regional offices, external stakeholders, and national bodies to develop and implement national policies, guidance, and training programs, addressing workforce gaps and improving patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading projects related to nursing education and training.

Providing senior leadership in policy development and service improvement.

Engaging with diverse stakeholders and ensuring alignment with national healthcare strategies.

Managing education programs and advocating for innovation and digital technology in training.
