Your goal will be to lead the development of technologies that make the software in our vehicles safer and more reliable. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the team, while also providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersx
- Manage software development projects, including creating and managing project plans, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Build a cohesive team that works together effectively and efficiently, and foster an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge of the software development process, including agile and waterfall methodologies, and experience in managing software development projects ideally within the automotive industry
Experience in designing and implementing quality assurance processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, and GitLab, and experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Ability to lead a team of developers, including coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and experience in managing stakeholder expectations, providing status updates, and presenting project progress to senior management.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
