Job Overview

The NHS is seeking a dedicated and experienced System Administrator to join the Chief Operating Officer’s Directorate for the Northwest Region (Cheshire & Merseyside System). This role supports the team in delivering high-quality health services by handling a variety of administrative tasks that assist with day-to-day operations.

This position offers a flexible working arrangement with a hybrid model of office and home-based work, and potential travel across the North West.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general administrative duties, including handling communications and scheduling meetings.

Support the team by managing diaries, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining filing systems.

Collaborate with colleagues within the NHS to improve patient care outcomes across Cheshire & Merseyside and North West Systems.

Utilize IT applications for data collection and management, ensuring accurate and timely project and program records.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Education: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Experience: Proven experience in administration/secretarial work, with familiarity in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask, and manage workloads independently under tight deadlines.
