Job Overview

The South West Health and Justice Team seeks a Team Administrator to support their work with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including those in prisons and survivors of sexual assault or abuse. This dynamic role involves handling sensitive information, arranging meetings, managing data, and supporting the teamโ€™s governance processes. The position offers flexibility with some home working, but candidates must be based in Bristol and prepared to travel to sites across the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrange and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.

Liaise with stakeholders and service providers to build relationships.

Oversee serious incident and death in custody processes.

Manage regular data flows and support business processes.

The role involves access to sensitive and potentially distressing information, requiring confidentiality and emotional resilience.

Qualifications and Skills:

NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in IT systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Strong organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining systems to support a busy team.

Ability to handle sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.

Additional Information:

The role requires at least 40% in-person working at the Bristol office, with optional home working for the remaining time. The post holder may also need to travel across the South West region.
