Job Overview:

The NHS is seeking an enthusiastic Training Programme Facilitator to join the Pharmacy Technician Team in the South West region. This role supports the education and training of preregistration pharmacy technicians. You will work with trainees, education leads, and employers to ensure standardization, quality, and consistency in training programs. Main Duties:

Design and implement effective teaching and learning strategies for trainees.

Support educational supervisors with high-quality training resources and advice.

Manage and monitor training programs with a focus on community pharmacy technician apprenticeships.

Provide expert advice on equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in pharmacy education.

Contribute to business planning and strategic developments for pharmacy workforce initiatives.

Represent the department at high-profile meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to promote innovation.

Qualifications Required:

Essential:

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.

Evidence of continued professional development.

Desirable:

Leadership and management training or equivalent experience.

Salary: ยฃ53,755 – ยฃ60,504 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Career Level: NHS AfC Band 8a

Work Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities (37.5 hours/week; total available hours: 41.25).

Salary Currency: GBP (ยฃ)

Salary Unit: Yearly

Job Experience:

Proven knowledge of NHS systems and quality management.

Experience in training, education, or a healthcare-related field.

Project management and strategic planning expertise.

Visa Sponsorship: Yes (subject to Home Office requirements).
