About the Company

We connect students that are in need of academic help with a network of highly-qualified, professional, self-employed private tutors and education consultants. They consist of university academics, PhD students, professional private tutors, retired executives and entrepreneurs with a strong academic background.

We pride ourselves on our fantastic track-record of helping students, their satisfaction levels with our professionalism and responsiveness to their needs, and the overall quality and speed of our service.

Since our inception, we have facilitated tutoring for thousands of students. From those who need extra help before an exam or interview, international students, impaired students struggling with formal education, professionals studying for qualifications, and even senior professionals looking to hone particular skills.

We specialise in university level, degree level and professional qualification tutoring in London. However, our professional tutors can teach pretty much any subject, at any level, and we have the best school level tutors for A-level, IB and GCSE too.

Our office is in London, and we offer a combination of face-to-face private tutors in London as well as online tuition to our national and international clients.

The Profs was founded in 2014 by Richard Evans – a 1st class graduate in Economics & Political Sciences from the LSE and scholar from Westminster School. He teamed up with Leo Evans, a former financier from JP Morgan and lecturer at Imperial College. Vyvyan Almond is our head of accounts, Joseph Robbins is Director of Sales & Revenue. Josh Bedford is operations manager. Rebecca Thompson is our Head of Consulting; Ben Wilson is our Head of Customer Success; Georgina Bainbridge, Raphael Doss and Christopher Lee Slade are our client success managers. Rosie Holmes is the Tutor Community Manager whilst Billy Gray is our Talent Acquisition Manager. Lucy Tittle runs our marketing efforts whilst Katerina Parapdakis writes our content.
