Minimum Requirements:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate Petroleum Engineering program at an accredited postsecondary institution

You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:
-
Support projects to optimize Suncor’s on and offshore assets
-
Develop and manage tools for tracking operational efficiencies
-
Evaluate well integrity issues (i.e., corrosion, sand control, surface casing vent flows)

Assist with the update and development of Wells Standards and Guidelines
-
Prepare and present summary reports, performance metrics reports and graphical representations

Develop geo-models using history matching and thermal reservoir simulations
Location and other Key Details:

This is a 4, 8 or 12 month work term starting in September 2023

Placements will be in various areas of the business including the Wells and Production Engineering teams.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
-
You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
