Rotational Physiotherapist

The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is home to the West of Scotland Heart & Lung Centre and provides elective orthopaedic surgeries to patients throughout Scotland to assist in the reduction of waiting times.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist to join the team on a permanent basis. The post offers, both new graduates and more experienced band 5 physiotherapists, an opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team promoting enhanced recovery after surgery within the innovative elective orthopaedic department and cardiothoracic services, which covers heart surgery, lung surgery and Advanced Heart Failure.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be driven and be able to work effectively in a busy and sometimes unpredictable environment. There will be a commitment to seven-day working and on-call.
