What will your typical day look like?

In this pivotal role, you will provide support, interpretation and guidance on the requirements of the Independence and BDIP Policies. You will process authorization forms, and facilitate BDIP waivers in accordance with Policy requirements. You will provide BDIP onboarding assistance for new hires, newly promoted practitioners, as well as ongoing support to existing users through verbal and written communication. Role involves troubleshooting issues related to BDIP processes, and the investigation and resolution of account import concerns. You will respond to end user queries received through a shared mailbox or telephone support requests, ensuring all actions and communication is documented and preserved for future reference.

About the team

You will be working with our Regulatory, Quality, Risk & Reputation group, a part of Deloitte’s National Office. We have established a BDIP Support team to assist practitioners with the requirements of our Broker Data Import Program and Policy. The Broker Data Import Program (BDIP) enables practitioners with investment reporting requirements, and their immediate families, to authorize their holding information to automatically import to GIMS from their respective brokerage firms. The Global Independence Monitoring System (GIMS) is a web-based application that assists Deloitte member firms, and their professionals monitor their personal financial interests.

You are someone with:

  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position
  • University or Community College graduate, ideally with a financial or business related degree/diploma;
  • Strong business acumen with solid analytical skills and conceptual thinking
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence with the ability to build solid relationships
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience with MS Office are required
