We are looking for safe, courteous Class A CDL Truck Driver (Experienced) that are committed to WVEI’s quality of work and commitment to safety. WVEI’s Class A CDL Truck Driver (Experienced) work at our Yorkville, OH location driving Class A vehicles while pulling a flatbed trailer. Local and Regional Truck Driver positions available. If you live within less than an hour commute to our terminal, we want to talk to you. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Class A CDL Truck Driver (Experienced) Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following

·Comply with all FMCSA DOT REGULATIONS and in-house rules

·Conduct daily pre trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle and report any problems or damage to management as per FMCSA Regulation Part 396

·Able to identify OOS issues on Trailers, Trucks, and Heavy Equipment

·Responsible for flatbed Cargo Securement, Strapping and securing the loads.

·Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business

·self-motivated and have a strong work ethic

Class A CDL Truck Driver (Experienced) Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL Drivers License
• MVR with no major moving violations or excessive points
• No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
• 2+ years’ Flatbed driving experience required
• High school diploma/GED required
• SAFELAND Certified a Plus+
• Nationwide Criminal Background check required
• Ability to read, write, and speak well in English
• Push, Pull, Kneel, Bend, Lift, Squat up to 100 lbs or more
