We are looking for a passionate and inspiring teacher to join our small and dedicated team to teach our mixed key stage 2 class, consisting of years 3-6. This is a unique and rewarding challenge and the successful candidate will require a flexible and creative approach to learning, working in a job share role. You will be offered full support and the opportunity to work in a team that places importance on its staff’s emotional health and wellbeing.

 

You will need to be an excellent practitioner with evidence of high-quality teaching and learning in a mixed age class in KS2 and should demonstrate the ability to provide an exceptional learning experience for all children, with the enthusiasm and energy to engage and motivate.

 

Experience in teaching KS2 is essential and an ability to promote excellence in learning, creativity, and challenge for children in a mixed age class is a must. The successful candidate will become part of an experienced team, with high aspirations for the children in our care and will be able to contribute to our school purpose of ‘Together We Can’.

Leavening is a thriving village school in a rural setting serving the immediate community and other villages on the outskirts of Malton.
