Cyber Security Project Manager

Pektron Group Ltd are seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team.

Experience in automotive software development & Cybersecurity is essential

The role:

Project manage all aspects of design, implementation and validation required to deliver the scope of the engineering project so as to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to project budgets and schedules.

• Agreeing project objectives
• Representing Pektron during project meetings
• Providing advice on the management of projects
• Carrying out project risk assessment
• Making sure the quality standards are met
• Using project management tools to report and track project and progress
• Overseeing and reporting on project costing and timing
• Reviewing the commercial status of quoted work and track effort spent
• Responsible for co-ordinating projects and ensuring all aspects of design, implementation and validation required to deliver the scope of the project to satisfy the customer requirements while adhering to project budgets and schedules
• Ensure a project is run in accordance to company APQP procedures
• Be a central interface with other functions that input into the planning process e.g. specification and drawing issues from customers
• Create metrics and profiles of projects for managerial reporting

Recent projects include:

Design and manufacture of advanced body control systems including passive keys and active suspension systems for high performance vehicles.

Developing advanced instrument clusters, passive entry systems, body and chassis control systems for major OEM clients in the automotive, agricultural and construction sectors.

Location:

We are based in Alfreton Road in Derby, easily commutable from the Derby area, Nottingham, Mansfield, Burton, Loughborough, Ashbourne and the Peak District and East Staffordshire.

We have 5 modern, purpose built buildings at our Derby site including state of the art manufacturing facilities and a purpose built Engineering centre to house our Engineering team. Our facilities have been recognised as being one of the most modern and well equipped electronics design, development and manufacturing plants in Europe.
