LR Truck Driver

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full-time LR Truck Driver to join our Parks & Recreation department based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Team Leader, this position is responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sports grounds, parks, open space, and cemeteries for Parks and Recreation Services across Isaac Regional Council.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• ‘LR’ class licence (mandatory).
• Construction Blue/White Card (mandatory).
• Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics, general maintenance and gardening.
• Relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment, horticulture and poison operations and minimum 12 months experience is essential.
• Clean driving record is required.

For this position we offer:

• Salary $58,372.74 – $60,965.47 per annum (Stream B Level 3 – 5)
• Nominally 38 hours per week
• RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
• 15 days’ personal leave per annum
• Up to 13% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
