Liverpool Hospital is recruiting for a Physiotherapist to complement and enhance the current Physiotherapy department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Liverpool Hospital Physiotherapy Department in a rotational level 1/2 role. Liverpool Hospital is a large, dynamic and fast paced hospital with multiple different clinical services and specialties. You would be joining a supportive team who places an emphasis on education, support and training.

What you’ll be doing

To provide professional and high quality physiotherapy services to patients in SWSLHD. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

Where you’ll be working
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.

The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.

Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.

 

  • Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated broad range of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experience
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, computer skills and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and the application of evidence based practice
  • Demonstrated knowledge and involvement in quality improvement activities.
