A key role in our prepared food manufacturing team is our Shift Manager. We’re on the lookout for an experienced and self-motivated leader to manage the forward planning and day-to-day leadership/management of processing/packing shifts and all the resources allocated to the operation.

With 3 direct reports and a diverse remit, this role will focus on leadership of the processing/packing shifts, which encompasses a range of areas, including; Health & Safety (our #1 priority), Change Management, Team Development and Training, Cost Efficiency, Continuous Improvement, Quality (Product & Systems), People Leadership, Compliance and Environment.

Key competencies for this role are measured around Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Environment. This includes understanding, complying and, where necessary, enforcing, company policies and practices currently in place and any new policies/practices that are implemented.

 

About You

• Demonstrated experience in food processing/manufacturing and complex environment
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Safety, GMP, HACCP, Environment and Quality Systems
• Ability to rotate between day, afternoon and night shifts as required
• Aptitude to think logically and problem solve paired with results orientation
