The Analyst – Research & Analysis is critical to making this happen and will:

  • Conduct financial analysis of customers and identify trends and potential risks along with mitigation strategies
  • Analyse and interpret financial data and prepare quality credit papers to support strategic decision-making
  • Proactive portfolio management
  • Effectively communicating financial analysis findings and recommendations to both internal stakeholders such as Credit Risk Executives and customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Relationship and Product Managers for client acquisition and retention efforts
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments that may impact customers’ financial profiles
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and participate in client meetings and presentations

We are seeking a highly motivated analyst with critical thinking abilities to join our team. As part of the Research & Analysis team you will be member of a customer facing team that structures lending solutions for corporate customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their financial needs, analyse their financial data, and provide strategic recommendations. Through deep client / industry understanding underpinned by high quality analysis, the role helps capture valuable business opportunities and in identifying and effectively managing emerging risks.

You will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with lots of learning opportunities to develop deep knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals.

The ideal candidate is curious, critical thinker, problem solver, values-driven, and has strong interpersonal abilities to effectively understand and communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
