Notes from meeting with recruiters/vendors last go around:
Based on the first batches of resumes that I’ve received, am still receiving quite a few with limited to no lab experience outside of coursework and/or short stints in an academic lab as an undergrad and therefore do not meet the minimum 1 year lab experience that I am requiring. Also, am interested primarily in lab experience in chemistry, protein biochemistry, and/or formulation chemist experience ideally in a manufacturing/GMP setting. Less interested in those with strictly academic clinical/statistical/epidemiological research, histology, molecular biology backgrounds.
High visibility project with a significant ramp up. Fast Paced Environment. Need candidates that can quickly jump in and learn the processes and SOPs quickly. A new grad will be considered as long as they have solid lab experience like having a significant role on a project that helped build foundational skills. Masters degree is also fine as long as they understand the pay range.
Potential for extension, depends on business need and budget
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant academic, clinical, or industry lab work required.
• Experience with basic protein biochemistry techniques including spectrophotometry, chromatography, protein purification and conjugation preferred.
