Job Description
• Responsible for timely delivery & documentation of assay data
• Maintain mammalian cell culture lines
• Create and document cell line banks
• Build and maintain bioreactors
• Harvest cell culture samples/productions
• Update and maintain biological inventories
• Perform experiment documentation/notebooking
• Assist in any troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
• Develop and maintain knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations
Qualifications
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Analytical/Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep timely and accurate records, follow instructions, ability to identify and implement operational and organizational improvements, and comply with company policies and GLP processes, while delivering the highest standard of quality data
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of mammalian cell cultures
• Strong demonstrated aseptic technique
• Experience with fermentation bioreactors
• Exposure to operating and programming laboratory automation and liquid handling
