You’ll work closely with other members of the Communications team, the Content team including our in-house Copywriter as well as Team Leads, Executive members and other internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Your work will alleviate capacity issues for our existing copywriter and the copywriting related workload of our Team Leads, Executive and individual contributors.

What you’ll do.

Collaborate with in-house experts. This work is deeply collaborative, you’ll communicate with designers, engineers, creatives and other internal and external subject matter experts to deliver accurate, compelling and informative copy that demonstrates the myriad ways in which Procreate can be incorporated into creative pipelines and workflow.

Adhere to internal standards and stylistic guidelines. Your written content will demonstrate a deep understanding of our brand voice and messaging. You’ll adhere to and help expand on comprehensive internal style and tone guides. Your work will ensure consistency in grammar, tone and style across all of our written content.

Marketing assets and campaigns. Take a user centric approach to your copy. Your work will communicate the power of Procreate directly to those who are familiar with the product but also those who are new comers to the software. Technically detailed product descriptions. You’ll produce clear and concise product and feature descriptions that communicate complex technical detail in an approachable and friendly manner. Your writing will highlight and champion Procreate’s core features, functionality and use cases.

Skills.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about their craft. If you don’t see yourself in everything on this list don’t worry, even if you match just a few we’d still love to hear from you.

Understanding of SEO best practice and principles.
A strong and diverse portfolio of detailed technical writing and marketing focused copy.
A clear and concise writing style that conveys complex information in an easily digestible manner.
Experience in both technical writing and marketing focused copy, preferably in a tech company or similar.
An ability to switch between closed, focused independent work and more open, playful collaborative work.
Well developed and demonstrated ability to research and understand complex areas of technical knowledge.
Unrelenting attention to detail and an ability to manage time, meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.

Who we are.

One of the driving factors behind Procreate’s success is our close-knit teamwork. We believe the key to invention is the open flow of ideas and collaboration — revelling in the creative process and taking the time to hone our craft. Together we’re dedicated to building creative software that is powerful, accessible, and intuitive. We’re not afraid to rethink, iterate and persist until we genuinely believe in our work.

Every day we inspire each other to continue our relentless pursuit, passion, and hunger to produce the highest quality work, while remaining humble in our achievements.
