Job Description

As a Customer Success Associate on the Wunderkind Publishers team, you will help senior leaders at our client companies solve their most pressing digital problems through our cutting-edge software. The role involves a consultative and holistic approach to both digital marketing and client management, including building out comprehensive marketing strategies based on consumer behavior, executing and optimizing those strategies, all while delivering next-level results and service.

Customer Success Associates undergo an initial training, and are given early exposure to some of our largest digital news and lifestyle publisher clients. Associates are then able to work directly with clients on building out their audience development and consumer marketing strategies.

If you love the fast-paced environment of a startup, digital marketing, and working closely with clients, then this is an incredibly unique opportunity to join an accomplished team and help blaze the trail for future growth.

  • Work directly with and be mentored by a dedicated senior team member to build and execute marketing campaigns for some of the largest brands in the world.
  • Continuously think outside the box to generate new campaign ideas, tailored to the unique needs of your clients.
  • Serve as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design.
  • Managing our growing ads alert system and addressing critical alerts quickly.
  • Helping to ensure that clients are set up correctly and efficiently.
  • Managing tasks related to enrolling new sites in SSP partners, as well as ensuring proper mapping and allocation of impressions and revenue in reporting.

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in Marketing, Client Services, Publishing, Advertising, or other related fields.
  • Previous experience in eCommerce, email marketing and/or website analytics (including Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and EQ; you enjoy building relationships, and using data to persuade & tell compelling stories.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to project manage, set priorities and stay organized when managing multiple client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills- you can explain technical concepts in simple terms and develop rapport with clients through clear and professional communication.
  • Strong active listening skills to understand clients needs and effectively convey feedback.
  • Proficient in data analysis & reporting: Excel and Google Sheets a plus.
  • Exposure or familiarity with programmatic advertising
  • Familiarity with CRM & Project Management tools such as Salesforce, Atlassian suite (i.e. Jira & Confluence) and Wrike.
