About The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Financial Analyst. You will support both commercial and operational decision-making to help ensure Sunwater’s long-term financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyse and interpret financial data, including in-depth analysis of results, forecasts, and financial ratios, to identify trends and uncover areas for improvement.
• Support the Commercial Customer team with pricing and analytical support of industrial customer contracts to improve commercial performance
• Assist ongoing development of Sunwater’s commercial principles and strategies
• Prepare data analysis to support decision making on investments, strategic initiatives or business opportunities
• Stay up to date with industry knowledge relevant to customer sectors, ensuring you remain informed and able to provide advice.

 

You will bring:

FP&A requires a variety of role dimensions and so we welcome complementary experience and skillsets that offers diversity in perspective. We are interested in hearing from people who have:

• Bachelor degree within a Finance, Business, Economics or Statistics discipline (or a related field)
• Minimum of three years in a relevant financial, commercial, or strategic analysis role
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong people skills with ability to present financial information to non-finance staff
• Eager to embrace technology in support of your role and responsibilities
• Organized, resourceful, and energetic, with a strong sense of initiative
• Flexible approach if priorities change
