Full Stack Developer

An experienced Full Stack Developer with at least 4 years of experience is needed to join the team at this leading economy forecasting company based in London.

You will assist with modernizing their platform, which provides real-time forecasts from machine-learning and advanced statistical models to clients largely within the Financial Services industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest and greatest technologies and play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge software solutions.

About the Company

They are an online service delivering high-frequency, short-term forecasts for the world’s major economies – in real-time.

These forecasts (or ‘nowcasts’) are generated by state-of-the-art econometric models, which update all forecasts automatically whenever any significant data release is published.

Their output is delivered to subscribers via multiple electronic channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications
• Participating in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse user requirements
• Implementing user interfaces and experiences that are responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing
• Building and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance
• Integrating third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience working as a full-stack developer
• HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
• Angular or React with TypeScript
• C# (.NET 5+)
• Entity Framework
• T-SQL / SQL Server
• TDD
