Web Designer

We’re in search of a Web Designer responsible for designing and developing websites, landing pages, and other web-based applications. You will work closely with stakeholders and other team members across marketing to ensure that design solutions meet business objectives and deliver an exceptional user experience. This position demands a high level of output in a fast-paced environment, but also offers opportunity for growth in a fast scaling business. You will also have the opportunity to help shape AuditBoard’s design processes and contribute to our design system as we scale.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling web designs that align with our brand identity and user experience standards.
• Create engaging visuals and responsive designs that provide an intuitive and seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard design tools, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing guidance on design specs and maintaining design integrity throughout the development process.
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
• Continuously analyze and optimize website performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
• Own and improve web workflows and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, web development, UX, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a web designer, demonstrating a strong command of design principles, usability, and user-centered design practices.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your web design expertise is required. Preferably B2B and/or SaaS experience.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Creative Cloud, and others. Experience with Webflow is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development frameworks to effectively collaborate with front-end developers.
• Experience working with CMS systems such as WordPress and others similar.
• Strong visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color theory, and composition.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles to create seamless user experiences across devices.
• Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and communicate design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• The detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality designs that align with brand standards and business goals.
• A positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
