Summary:

CAI is hiring!

CAI is seeking a Full Stack .NET Web and SQL Developer who can assume responsibility for developing and maintaining applications built using the .NET framework. This is a hybrid long-term contract position with a major client based in Newark, NJ.

We are seeking a highly motivated, and detail-oriented IT professional to join our team. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of the front-end and back-end aspects of application development. On the front-end, they must be able to design and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. On the back-end, they must be able to work with databases, web services, and other server-side resources.

In addition, they should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Full stack .NET developers must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must also be able to take direction from lead developers and other stakeholders. Furthermore, they should communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology, long-term stability, and great work/life balance!

Responsibilities and Duties:

Layout, develop and creating responsive/progressive web applications using the .NET system and environment.
Participate in requirements discussions and transform them into useful applications in line with service goals.
Support, maintain and enhance existing applications and fix issues.
Collaborate with peers to create the most effective solution possible using the .NET framework and Microsoft tech stack.
Take responsibility for identifying and reducing technical debt in existing code structure while boosting application effectiveness and improve performance.
Deliver error-free code that complies with secure coding practices.
Able to provide technical assistance for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Incorporate data storage systems and preserve code quality.
Design responsive/progressive user interfaces using .NET and related technology.
Innovate and build high-quality software application options leveraging the flexibility of the .NET platform.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

C# and .NET Framework- Required 3 Years of experience
ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC using Internet Information Services (IIS)- Required 3 Years of experience
SQL Server- Required 3 Years of experience
HTML5/CSS3-Bootstrap- Required 3 Years of experience
JavaScript/TypeScript/React- Required 3 Years of experience

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
