The Role at a Glance
Lincoln National Corporation seeks (3 openings) Analyst, Application Development; EMPLOYER: Lincoln National Corporation; LOCATION: 150 N. Radnor-Chester Road, A-308., Radnor, PA 19087. Work from home 100% of the time. 10% domestic travel to Lincoln offices. JOB DUTIES: Design, code, test, and support application development that delivers an application to load and work/correct customer data within our Converge and Ardis systems. Participate in development, new code creation, analysis, design, testing, and addressing of software defects. Translate business conversations around group protection insurance and enrollment into a technical software strategy to create efficient and thorough coverage for all clients. Utilize coding languages such as Java and Java SpringBoot to develop and support systems in the inspection, validation and loading of data to Admin systems. Code from a backlog of Agile Stories and ensure new code meets security standards. Write SQL queries and PL/SQL code to analyze and tune code. Leverage tools including SonarCube, Fortify, and Dependency Checker to produce security reports and make necessary coding changes. Create tests with JUnit in order to write and run repeatable, automated tests of our applications systems. Ensure business deliverables are met from the conception of new work to delivering through testing and full implementation. Ensure ongoing support for applications. Analyze requests and recommend changes based on the business criteria. Support quality assurance testing and testers.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Experience must include the following: 3 years of experience utilizing Java and Java SpringBoot to develop and support applications in the inspection, validation and loading of data to Admin systems; 3 years writing SQL queries and PL/SQL code to analyze and tune code; 3 years utilizing JUnit to write and run repeatable, automated tests within application systems; 2 years utilizing SonarCube, Fortify, and Dependency Checker to produce security reports and make necessary coding changes; 2 years utilizing Docker in order to containerize and run applications. Pay Range: $95,701.00 – $140,700

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
