About Us

The Office of the CEO Directorate is responsible for developing the City of Stirling’s strategic objectives and long-term vision to shape the future of the City. The Directorate acts as the link between the Council and the community to establish the City’s priorities that are aligned with our commitment to community connectedness and sustainability.

The Team

The Compliance, Risk and Information Management (CRIM) Service is a close-knit team that sits within the Governance Business Unit. The CRIM service:

  • Drives organisational culture, processes and systems relating to risk management, compliance and integrity.
  • Promotes and supports a best practice, innovative, modernised approach to Information Management (IM); to meet compliance and support collaboration, accountability, transparency, efficiency and effective decision making. This includes driving the City’s digitisation framework and data strategy.
  • Ensures the effective and efficient delivery of the City’s Legal Services.

The Role

The City of Stirling (the City) has an exciting opportunity for an Information Management Analyst to join the Information Management (IM) Team within the CRIM Service.

The City is moving towards an automated, integrated digital landscape, with the Information Management Team playing a crucial role in the delivery of the City’s Data Strategy and Digitisation Framework.

Reporting to the IM Coordinator, the IM Analyst will use their experience in projects, systems and data analytics to achieve the City’s vision of providing clean, accessible, secure and accurate data to its stakeholders.

Responsibilities include the successful, timely delivery of projects, using data and analytics for continuous improvement; providing training in best practice and systems, working collaboratively with key stakeholders and promoting good data governance throughout the organisation.

The role is part of Information Managements Leadership Team, having one IM Project Officer (or equivalent FTE) reporting to it. The IM Analyst is responsible for the upskilling and professional development of its direct report.

The ideal candidate will not necessarily need Information Management experience, however, strategic thinking, strong initiative and a digital/technology focus are essential. Experience in project management, change management and data analytics is highly desirable.

As part of the Leadership Team, the successful applicant will receive opportunities for professional development and higher duties.

This is a Level 7, full time, permanent position with the opportunity to work additional hours to support the wider Governance Team if required. Corresponding with the Inside Workforce Agreement; this position currently attracts a salary range of $89,220.21 – $93,916.99 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
