 Summary

Alsco is seeking career driven, motivated individuals to join our Management Training Program. Our program provides hands-on training in production, service, sales, office, human resources and most importantly, people management.

Alsco rewards its management trainees with competitive compensation packages including a vehicle for personal and business use. The Management Training Program provides a clearly defined career path to a managerial position in as little as 15 months! Our promotions don’t stop there—our general managers regularly come from the training ranks. Your journey with Alsco will start off as a Branch Management Trainee, progress into a Management role, while gaining experience for a future Branch General Manager role.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Learn various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints, company policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and practices affecting each phase of business.
  • Meet performance goals and objectives.
  • Report weekly on the progress of goals and objectives.
  • Monitor progress with management and key trainers.
  • Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
  • Train in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and pursue greater promotional opportunities.
  • Provide support as needed in various departments, including reporting, data-entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2-4 years professional experience beyond college
  • 1 year management experience (preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation efficiently and accurately, and without causing significant safety threat to self or others.
