REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Social Media Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, PR & Social Media.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Manager to lead our company’s social media presence and strategy. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns, managing social media accounts, and driving engagement and growth across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with a deep understanding of current trends, audience behaviors, and platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing objectives and brand voice.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms.
Define target audience segments and create content strategies that resonate with each segment.
Plan and schedule social media content calendars, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of engaging posts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media strategies into broader marketing campaigns.

Content Creation and Management:
Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and graphics.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality visual assets.
Tailor content for each platform, considering audience preferences and best practices.
Manage content libraries and maintain an organized system for easy access to assets.
Monitor content performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.

Community Management and Engagement:
Manage social media accounts and communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Foster and nurture online communities, building positive relationships with followers and influencers.
Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement, reach, and follower growth.
Monitor social media conversations and trends, proactively engaging in relevant discussions and leveraging opportunities for brand exposure.
Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and engagement.

Social Media Advertising:
Develop and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and performance tracking.
Monitor campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.
Stay updated on social media advertising trends and best practices, implementing new features and targeting options.

Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
Identify trends and patterns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Utilize social media analytics tools to track and measure KPIs and campaign effectiveness.

Social Listening and Reputation Management:
Monitor social media channels for mentions of the company, products, and competitors.
Respond to customer reviews, feedback, and inquiries, addressing any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful social media campaigns and audience growth.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Strong understanding of audience behavior and ability to create content that resonates.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Creative thinker with strong visual and written communication skills.
Experience with social media advertising and audience targeting.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Passion for social media and staying updated on industry trends.
